James Ridinger Announces Market America to Aid China in Aftermath of Earthquake

GREENSBORO, N.C. (May 21, 2008) — James Ridinger, president and CEO of Market America announced today the company would make a financial contribution to the American Red Cross and is accepting donations from its over 180,000 Distributors in the United States, Canada, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Australia. Donations will be given to the Red Cross to aid in recovery efforts after a devastating earthquake left nearly five million people in China without a home.

“From the events of 9/11 to Hurricane Katrina and the 2004 Tsunamis, the generosity of Market America’s Distributors has always shown through in tough times such as this,” said James Ridinger. “Market America is a global community and we have a responsibility to help out as much as possible and help a damaged and devastated community rebuild.”

James Ridinger said depending on their location, those wishing to make a contribution can send donations to the following attention until May 30 in the form of check or money order only made payable to Red Cross:
